Time Out Says

We're big fans of the Radisson Blu in Deira; it is one of the oldest hotels in the city and has restaurants that never fail to deliver. It might not be one of the city's hotspots but it does what it does very well indeed. One of the hotel's most fun places to eat is Japanese restaurant Minato, which has regular deals and live cooking. All of the basics of Japanese cuisine are present and correct – fresh sashimi, excellent sushi and teppenyaki. Some of the dishes won't be too familiar to most people as it's all quite traditional here. We can recommend the grilled mackerel and chicken teriyaki, as well as the shoyu ramen
and barbecued eel, but try it on one of the buffet nights and you'll be able to try a lot of dishes with little risk of finding something you don't like. Well-priced and nicely bustling, Minato is a comfortable and enjoyable place to enjoy Japanese cooking.
