A spacious warehouse-style kitchen and restaurant that overall does not disappoint
Time Out Says
The café has won many prestigious awards including Time Out Dubai’s Best Family Restaurant in 2011. The industrial theme that pervades this restaurant isn’t uncommon, unfamiliar or unusual, but it’s the details that keep it interesting – from the rusty, oversized nut and bolt that keeps the sprawling menu in place to the black and white photographs adorning a metallic central pillar in the DIFC branch. Staff are helpful, forthcoming and accommodating, with a desire to get your order right, making suggestions to match your taste. It’s a great stop for a quick lunch. The butternut squash, feta and spinach salad with pine nuts is delicate, fresh and flavoursome, and also low in cholesterol and fat, with a low glycemic index. Coffees are adventurous and the list of heartier meals is extensive. The café’s rendition of the popular Indian butter chicken dish is a triumph, with the tomato flavour still distinct within the creamy curry sauce.
