Time Out Says
Run by the team behind popular coffee shop Tom & Serg, this spot near Business Bay is an Instagram-lover’s dream. Instead of gaudy colours, the restaurant sticks to pastel blues, pinks and white, leaving you feeling calm. Although the restaurant is small, the tables are set at different levels, meaning you don’t feel cramped.
The dishes are hit and miss – the fondue, which almost feels healthy as it’s filled with mushrooms and other vegetables, is delicious, but the sauce in the piquillo and black bean quesadillas is watery and flavourless.
The churros are absolutely delicious, and go down a treat.
There are only a few other customers and it’s easy to see why. The location, which is in a Holiday Inn with no other food or beverage options, is too out of the way to draw people in. If this spot was anywhere else we can imagine it thriving, as the food and deals are great. Head here if you want a calming, delicious dinner, but don’t expect to see many other people.
