Time Out Says

Stepping inside the Arabian Courtyard Hotel is like stepping into another world. It is an extravagantly decorated place and Mumtaz Mahal buys into the theme. Booths are made from Indian carriages and musicians play live while you eat. It all makes for a bizarrely atmospheric experience that is a match for the north Indian food. The dishes here are full of flavour, fragrant and spicy. Staff are helpful and let you get on with your meal once it’s arrived. Everything about the place has a strange charm, and while it’s not fine dining, Mumtaz Mahal is a good middle ground between Old Dubai’s cafés and the high-end restaurants elsewhere in the city.
