Time Out Says
This restaurant in DIFC feels like a bit of a sanctuary from the city if you go at the weekend. During the week, it bustles with the area’s work crowd. The large restaurant decked out in browns and purples feels somewhat majestic, especially when it’s not so busy and the live singer performs. There’s also a large terrace decorated in the restaurant’s signature azure blue, which feels relaxed and serene on clement days. It’s all about mezze sharing at this eatery. Select a few. If you’re feeling adventurous, tackle the selection of raw meats. More accessible mezzes that should be tasted are the cold, air-dried beef basterma rolls with cheese and the different types of hummus including one made with red chilli paste and one with green pesto and basil. This is the place to come with close friends and family to enjoy a meal in the traditional Lebanese way. The food is of good quality and the sharing concept makes the whole experience of dining here a truly delightful one.
