Time Out Says
With bright colours adorning a spacious, circular room, Naya is a pretty restaurant often frequented by parents with kids (as one would expect from the very family-friendly Jumeirah Beach Hotel). If you’re not dining with your offspring and you can overlook the inevitable din that comes with being surrounded by numerous little ones, then you’ll find that the food at Naya is outstanding. With every dish, it’s clear that a lot of care, thought and preparation has gone into its creation. The dhal makhani is subtly flavoured and beautifully buttery; the prawn bhuna is perfectly cooked and smothered with a complex sauce that has a good kick. Even the soft, fluffy chilli garlic naan is wonderfully memorable. By the time you’re finished, you’ll be so entranced by the food that any wailing children in the restaurant won’t even register.
