New Sind Punjab Restaurant
Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011This compact Karama eatery is simply decorated with red leather booths and wooden tables, while small touches such as the clay pot lampshades and retro menus give the place an authentic feel. Tables are also placed outside next to the take-away counter at the front of the restaurant to cater for those in a rush.
As its name suggests, the restaurant specialises in Punjabi food and it seems to be a staunch favourite with local families. Sample the tandoor choices as there is a barbecue station set up outside especially. The chicken is tender and succulent, and is definitely a stand out choice. Considering that Indian food consists of some great vegetarian dishes, it’s a great shame that those we sampled were the weakest options. Nonetheless, New Sind Punjab is a good value curry option to try out, but there are plenty of Indian restaurants in Karama that are more worthy of your dirhams.
