Some of the world's best food trucks will pop-up at Burj Park for a foodie event like no other seen in Dubai before.
The three-day event known as Eat The World DXB will take place from February 25-27 and will feature 15 of London's most popular portable outlets.
Described by organisers as 'a hip, new street food-meets-entertainment concept', it will take place at Burj Park, in the shadow of the Burj Khalifa, and is expected to attract 20,000 people over the weekend.
As well as the international trucks, there will also be a celebrity chef theatre, an artisan food market, and some of Dubai's own leading meals on wheels.
Among those set to feature throughout the event are Fish Dogs from London, bought to town by award-winning British chef Mark Hix. There will also be Bangwok, a Thai street food concept served from an authentic tuk-tuk.
'London’s food truck movement has been setting international trends for years and Eat the World DXB will bring some of the world’s most innovative culinary concepts to Dubai as well as showcasing the best of Dubai’s local home-grown street food movement,' said organisers.
'With an eclectic array of cuisines from across the globe, Eat the World DXB will offer Dubai residents and tourists an authentic food truck experience – one unlike anything else currently in the market - right in the heart of the city.'
Food fans can also look forward to Big Apple Hot Dogs, an Americana-inspired East London vendor, and The Cheese Truck, which, well, does what it says on the time.
