Great news for Abu Dhabi’s discerning diners – La Petite Maison, Time Out Dubai’s Best Restaurant of the Year winner in 2012 and 2015, will be opening in the capital in September 2017.

A favourite among visiting celebrities and famed chefs in Dubai, La Petite Maison has built up a reputation for its unmatched combination of fantastic southern French cuisine, charismatic service, classic setting and friendly atmosphere.

While some mains will set diners back by more than Dhs300, there are plenty of more reasonably priced options around the Dhs100 mark.

First established in Nice on France's Cote D'Azur in 1988, La Petite Maison has been among the UAE’s most acclaimed dining experiences since its arrival in Dubai in 2010.

Abu Dhabi foodies can look forward to a restaurant that prides itself on the use of high-quality ingredients, including fresh, seasonal and local produce.

With its high ceilings and low lighting, the atmosphere is friendly and cosy, and that’s reinforced by the sharing-style approach to dining. Food arrives à la minute, and portions are generous enough to divide so that everyone on the table gets more than a taste.

Some of the favourites include warm prawns with olive oil, the deep-fried baby squid, slow-cooked duck a l’orange and smooth vanilla seed-studded crème brûlée for dessert.
