Second Last Exit opens in Al Qudra

New food truck park serves up an equestrian theme

Dubai’s second Last Exit food truck park has opened, once again in the outer echelons of the city, but this time at Al Qudra Lakes, a popular weekend hub for cyclists and dog-walkers alike.

Though eventually the new venue will be home to up to 20 different outlets – open 24 hours a day, seven days a week – only five are currently in position at the site, which boasts an unusual “equestrian” theme, complete with tables set on top of bales of hay and vendors housed inside trucks styled to look like horse boxes.

Outlets Jaldi Jaldi, with a focus on paratha and karak chai, and Greenhouse, which will serve up healthy meals including salads, are both new to the city, while coffee spot The Brass, Latin American joint Poco Loco and fast food chain Burger Pit will already be familiar to visitors of the original Last Exit, which opened near Jebel Ali on Sheikh Zayed Road last year.

Operated by Meraas – the developer behind retail and leisure complexes including The Beach, City Walk and BoxPark – a further eight Last Exits will eventually open around the emirate over the next few months, including two at Al Ain Road, one at Hatta, one at Al Khawaneej, one on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and two on Emirates Road.
