Cook Hall launches a proper “boys’ brunch”

Dubai gastropub promises a sport-filled "Man Cave" escape

Ladies, look away now.

The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor City’s Cook Hall gastropub now runs a special “Man Cave Brunch” every Saturday, for the whole day.

Designed specifically with Dubai’s sport-loving menfolk in mind, the top floor of the American bar and restaurant promises the opportunity for punters to pull their own pints of craft brews, play hops pong, battle one another in a game of FIFA on the PlayStation 4 and go head to head on the pool table and dart board. There will also be live football matches glowing on screens around the room.

To fuel all that revelry (or should that be rivalry?) you’ll be able to order unlimited plates of food and drinks (including craft hops and mixed beverages) for three hours from the minute you rock up.

All that for just Dhs299 – and if you start at 1pm, you’ll be able to move on to the daily happy hour deal (which runs 4pm to 8pm, with 40 percent off selected beverages) straight after. Tidy.

(Ladies are also welcome to participate – eyebrow firmly arched – in the Saturday brunch.)

Dhs299. Saturday, noon until late. Cook Hall, The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor City, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 435 5577).
