Souk Madinat's top-notch eatery offers discounted dining for theatre-goers


If you’ve got tickets for the Motown show Turn Up The Music next week at Madinat Theatre, you can get a discount on dinner, too.

folly by Nick & Scott, at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is offering Dhs45 off its tasting menu when you book a table and show your tickets for the production on Thursday June 29 and Friday June 30.

The contemporary European restaurant from chef duo Nick Alvis and Scott Price, has top views over Madinat Jumeirah, and is located in part of the space formerly occupied by Rivington Grill.

Theatre-goers can enjoy the restaurant’s five-course tasting menu for Dhs250 rather than the usual price of Dhs295.

Dishes include fried bread, sage, onion and spelt and the lamb saddle with whipped pine nuts.

Tickets for the show, which stars hits from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Otis Reading, start at Dhs145 and there are two performances a day at 3pm and 7.30pm.
