The Irish Village, Time Out Dubai’s Pub of the Year multiple award-winner, is hosting a brunch for the first time this summer.
The Dubai institution has long been extremely popular with visitors and residents alike, thanks to its friendly atmosphere and traditional pub grub. But now it’s rolling out a brunch for the summer.
“We decided to try a brunch in our ‘Summer Retreat’, an extension we put up to beat the heat,” The Irish Village’s Dave Cattanach tells Time Out Dubai. “We’ll have a monthly changing menu and a wide range of drinks.”
It kicks off this Friday (June 30) and is sure to be a big hit, especially as the beverage package comes in under Dhs300. There are also packages for soft drinks (Dhs199) and for kids (Dhs60), so families are very welcome, too. The brunch is a three-course à la carte offering, and will change monthly.
Current dishes include fish and chips, curries and a full fry-up; while there are also plenty of veggie versions too, as well as roasts and starters. Desserts such as apple pie and banoffee round it all off nicely.
And fans of the Maple Jacks will be thrilled that live music during the brunch comes from the band’s lead singer Drew.
What are you waiting for? We’re sure it will book up quickly, so don’t hang around.
Dhs199 (soft drinks), Dhs299 (house beverages), Dhs60 (kids). Fri 12.30pm-3.30pm. Garhoud (04 282 4750).
