A new menu is now ready to try out at Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara.
The upmarket Burj Al Arab restaurant, which has a central aquarium that diners sit around, has a reworked menu based around the current trend towards social eating.
As expected, it’s going to set you back a bit, but dishes are designed to showcase the super-fresh, top-notch seafood that top chef Outlaw has made his name with.
It’s the most extensive menu revamp the restaurant has undergone since the British chef took to the helm in September 2016.
New creations are designed for sharing and include “A Little Taste of Everything” seafood platter, featuring Scottish scallops, Cornish oysters and shrimp from Madagascar.
For something more substantial there’s a roast monkfish tail with potted shrimp butter and baked celeriac, or grilled tiger prawns with asparagus, roast garlic, parsley and lemon butter.
If you’re after a treat, the new menu is available at lunch and dinner.
