Ethiopian restaurant Gursha on the Palm Jumeirah launches kizomba night

Ethiopian restaurant Gursha has launched an exciting new weekly event that you won’t want to miss.

Nora Kizomba Social starts next Wednesday August 16, so when you head over to Gursha at Club Vista Mare on the Palm Jumeirah, as well as being able to enjoy a delightful meal of authentic Ethiopian cuisine, you’ll also be treated to a free 45-minute kizomba lesson from performing arts agency Nora Dance Group.

The launch of this Wednesday night event will also feature an exclusive performance by renowned international kizomba dancer Tony Pirata.

Pirata, who was born to Cape Verdean parents in Portugal, and who grew up in Lisbon and France, is famed for his innovative style and inventing his own techniques for the dance style. He has been practising and teaching kizomba for more than ten years, and has won a number of international championships and competitions throughout his career.

This is a rare opportunity to see a renowned artist perform kizomba right here in Dubai, and if you’re completely new to the dance, this launch event at Gursha will the perfect introduction to the contemporary Angolan-Cape Verdean art form.
