Al fresco dining returning to the Palm

Seagrill re-opening its doors at Fairmont The Palm after summer break

Say it quietly, but temperatures are slowly starting to go down a little, and we’ve seen the first signs of cooler climes. We’re ready to go outside a bit more, and a return to al fresco dining is in sight.

It’s one of the things this city does best, and, thankfully, Seagrill Restaurant and Lounge on the Palm Jumeirah is re-opening its doors for the post-summer season on Friday September 1.

Opening just in time for the Eid al-Adha long weekend, Seagrill – found at Fairmont The Palm on the Palm Jumeirah - is swinging open its patio doors for the welcome return of outside dining, matched with brilliant views of Dubai Marina and the Ain Dubai development.

The beachfront outlet is offering seafood platters, fresh fish on the grill, a variety of salads, shellfish, meats, burgers and even lobster rolls. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day, and even offers up a shisha service between noon until 1am.

We can’t think of many better places for sundowners and a relaxing evening under the stars.

And since it’s becoming possible to spend more time outside, why not check out these ten brilliant swim-up bars to be found across Dubai? There are few things better than a dip with a drink.

Roll on autumn, and the many joys it brings.
Open daily noon-2am. Fairmont The Palm, Palm Jumeirah, (04 457 3457).

The break will last from Monday August 20 until Wednesday August 22

Eid is expected to fall on Tuesday August 21 and run until Friday August 24
