Battle of the Chefs live in Dubai

Rang Mahal by Atul Kochhar to host fine-dining competition

Are you a fan of MasterChef? Well here’s your chance to witness a live cooking battle between two of the best chefs in their field – and taste the dishes.

On Wednesday September 20 at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road, Battle of the Chefs will be hosted at Indian fine dining restaurant Rang Mahal by Atul Kochhar. The two top chefs from MasterChef India Season 5 will be battling it out under the tutelage and mentorship of Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar and award-winning chef Amrish Sood.

The hit TV show’s winner, Kirti Bhoutika, and runner-up, Ashima Arora, will be tutored by the two world-class chefs, and you will be able to get in on the action.

For Dhs350, guests will experience a five-course tasting menu prepared by each team, and hear from each chef first-hand about the dishes being prepared and their culinary history. Guests will also be presented with welcome drinks and canapés upon arrival at the event, which will be hosted by radio and television presenter Tom Urquhart.

The winner will also be revealed after the final course of the evening has been served to guests. If you like the sounds of some brilliant Indian dining, we'd recommend the 22 bargain curries, grills and biryanis to find in Dubai.
