WOW That’s What I Call Brunch is back

The ’90s-themed party brunch will star Atomic Kitten and Culture Beat

Love ’90s music? You’re in for a treat, as Atomic Kitten and Culture Beat are heading to Dubai for a special one-off brunch.

WOW That’s What I Call Brunch is back for a second year, at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre.

Tickets, which cost Dhs569, are now on sale for the retro-themed brunch taking place on Friday September 15.

Culture Beat are best known for their 1993 hit Mr Vain, which reached number one in 11 European countries. The group, fronted by singer Tania Events and rapper Jay Supreme will be taking to the stage to entertain ’90s music-lovers.

And fans of Atomic kitten will be thrilled that the trio of Natasha Hamilton, Kerry Katona and Michelle Heaton (of Liberty X fame) will be belting out some of the band’s classic tunes including Right Now and Tide is High.

The brunch last year was hugely popular, headlined by Chesney Hawkes of The One and Only fame.

“WOW brunch last time was an astronomical success, so we planned to take it one step further and better this year. We are thrilled to bring two great bands to Dubai for the first WOW That’s What I Call Brunch of 2017. We’re expecting brunch party madness again,” says Antonio Mansfield, Director of Food & Beverage.

The party brunch will take place in The Great Ballroom at the hotel from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, and there will be happy hour from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. There’s even a pre-brunch deal from noon to 1.30pm, with buy-one-get-one-free drinks.

Dhs569. Fri Sep 15, 1.30pm-4.30pm. Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Garhoud www.platinumlist.ae.
