Brand-new menu at Mint Leaf of London

New chef brings interesting fresh dishes to upmarket Indian restaurant

Upmarket Indian restaurant Mint Leaf of London is launching a brand-new menu this week (Monday September 4).

New executive chef Pradeep Khullar has taken over and revamped the menu.

The new à la carte dishes will be packed full of new flavours and spices.

Signature starters include stuffed Portobello mushrooms with truffle dust, cooked in the tandoor and topped with a rich truffle and mushroom sauce, parmesan crumble and truffle sand.

There will also be a duck seekh kabab with plum, which is skewered, seasoned and topped with a goat’s cheese mousse.

Other interesting new dishes include rara mutton, being lamb cooked on a slow heat with onions and tomatoes, served with seared foie gras.

The menu is rounded off with a signature PB &C nougat bar, combining ice cream with crunchy peanut nougat and valrhona ganache. There’s also a lotus mess, with berries, cream and lotus biscuits.

“Joining Mint Leaf of London at such a momentous time has been a great challenge and opportunity for me,” Khullar says.

“With the brand evolving, at the juncture of its third anniversary, I am delighted to have created a new menu for Mint Leaf of London with my signature style of cooking. We have changed the menu to showcase the significant change at the restaurant, which will be the cornerstone for the brand going forward.”

The restaurant sits in Emirates Financial Towers and boasts stunning views across to the Burj Khalifa. It will no longer be running any of its brunch offerings, but there is also a new bar menu.

Open daily noon-2am. Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC (04 706 0900).
