Deliveroo opens delivery-only kitchens in Dubai’s JLT

Deliveroo Editions means more delivery options for Dubai Marina residents

Restaurant delivery specialist Deliveroo has just launched its own dedicated, delivery-only kitchen, which is designed to help its partner restaurants reach more customers in areas beyond their current range of access.

Say hello to Deliveroo’s latest addition to its delivery service, Deliveroo Editions – found in the middle of JLT. It claims to have harnessed the power of the vaguely defined “technology”, using data to identify customer demand and predict which restaurants are likely to succeed in a specific area.

Because of this, Deliveroo reckons its partner companies taking part in the kitchen trials will be more averse to the risk of opening up a new branch, while still reaching new markets.

Residents of JLT and neighbouring districts including Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Media City, Barsha Heights and Emirates Living can now log on and start ordering meals from some of Dubai’s top restaurants and takeaways.

Restaurants that have been confirmed as taking part in Deliveroo Editions include DIFC’s Burger & Lobster (which has also announced a brand-new breakfast menu), Pinza, Clinton St. Baking Company from Downtown Dubai, Fraiche, Pineapple Express and Joga. There are also half a dozen other brand-new dining concepts that Deliveroo says “are sure to become buzzworthy brands”.

Deliveroo provides the kitchen, the facilities, the riders and the orders, and the restaurants just prepare the food. A second Deliveroo Editions site in 2018.

So, start ordering a whole bunch more food, by heading to deliveroo.ae.
