Brand-new South Beach Fridays mean long, lazy lunches at Key West. Soak up the island vibes at this chilled-out beach resort. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Arabian Gulf while you dig into a platters of starters and desserts brought to your table. Try dishes from the Caribbean, Floridian, Latin food stations that are set around the beach area. Dishes include jerk chicken, roast of the day, chicken wings, short rib and seafood paella. Finally, unwind to some tunes while lounging on bean bags on the sand, plus there’s even beach football, if you’re feeling energetic.

“Mek yuhself at home”, says the team at Ting Irie. Another brunch channelling those Caribbean vibes, Ting Irie’s new House Party Brunch runs every Friday from noon to 5pm. The brunch is all about having fun, and serves up small plates of signature dishes (think jerk chicken et al), set to beats from Reggae Beach Fest’s DJs. Plus there’s mixed beverage pong, card games and signature drinks. Plus, continue the party an hour longer with buy one, get one free on drinks from 5pm to 6pm.

The City Grill
The Al Habtoor City steakhouse has a new Friday offering that meat fans are going to love. Choose from a buffet of salads and hot and cold appetisers to start, before moving on to an à la carte mains menu, where you can order as many grills as you like including beef, chicken and lamb. Then return to the buffet for a range of desserts.
