One-off French food event coming to Dubai

Enjoy cheese, pastries and more at Apéritif à la Française

Lovers of French food, make a note in your diary - there’s a special one-off event coming to Dubai.

Apéritif à la Française returns to the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi on Saturday November 18, showcasing the best of French food and culture.

It’s the fourth edition of the popular event, and there’s a huge range of culinary treats on offer.

Try out dairy products from Brittany-based specialist Payson Breton (because who doesn’t love cheese?) or goat’s cheese by Soignon. There’ll also be products from Régilait and Maille.

For those with a sweet tooth, La Patisserie des Reves will bake traditional pastries including crêpe suzette, macarons and mille-feuille.

Throughout the event – which runs from noon until 10pm – there’ll also be live music from French bands and a dedicated kids’ area with games.

“We’re extremely excited about hosting the fourth edition of Apéritif à la Française,” says Alix Collache, of organisers Sopexa.

“Last year we welcomed more than 4,000 visitors with everyone taking the opportunity to enjoy some wonderful food and soak up the party atmosphere. Our line-up has once again expanded so there’s even more choice and more fun for all the family.

“The event takes place from noon to 10pm, with some of France’s most iconic exports on show. Visitors will be able to enjoy several mouth-watering live food stations with specialities including cheese platters, oysters, cold cuts and a BBQ.”
No need to wear your beret, just get yourself down there, tout de suite.
Free entry. Food and drink from Dhs15. Noon-10pm. Sat Nov 18. Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street,
