Nobu and Locatelli join forces in the kitchen

The celebrity chefs will be cooking up a special menu at Atlantis The Palm

Culinary geniuses Nobu Matsuhisa and Giorgio Locatelli will be cooking up a storm when they take to the kitchen together for one night only.

The two world-famous chefs will be cooking together on Thursday November 16 for the first time, as part of Atlantis The Palm’s culinary month.

The pair – who are masters in the fields of Japanese and Italian cooking – have come up with a collaborative menu certain to wow Dubai’s discerning diners.

The six-course tasting menu comes in at Dhs550 a head, and it all kicks off at 7pm.

And the star ingredient is one of Dubai’s favourites. Truffle.

“The collaboratively created menu reflects Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature methods of giving traditional Japanese dishes a contemporary Peruvian twist, with a delectable line-up of courses including truffle sushi and cutrolls, Chilean sea bass dashi ponzu with truffle and tofu tiramisu for dessert,” say the team behind it.

“Meanwhile Giorgio Locatelli, whose authentic cuisine takes its cues from the Italian ethos of primacy of quality ingredients over pretentiousness or fuss, delivers an equally enchanting selection of dishes including beef tartare with quail’s egg and white truffle, egg yolk and potato ravioli sprinkled with white truffle and pan-fried veal with potato cake and white truffle.”
