LIMA, from Chef Virgilio Martinez, is offering up The Peruvian Expedition, which is launching this weekend (Friday December 8). Promising “fun, flavour and live music”, the five-course menu showcases a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes.
Highlights of the five-course feast include Peruvian bao buns with pulled duck and a spiced rocoto sauce, salmon ceviche with asparagus tempura and prawns anticucho, marinated with a traditional Inka Panka chilli. For the main course you can opt for slow-cooked lamb seco or seafood seco rice, while there’s a buffet-style dessert station to finish off. Packages start at Dhs325 for the five-course sharing menu.
The brunch runs from noon until 4pm, with an after party from 4pm until 6pm, where for an extra Dhs250 you can get unlimited drinks.

The Barcelona-inspired tapas bar comes from award-winning chefs Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette, who already run branches of the restaurant in Boston, New York and Bangkok.
The interiors boast colourful, modern, industrial-style décor with a dining area and bar – where the brunch will be served.
A central “social table” will include Toro’s famous pintxos, cold meats and Spanish cheese. A selection of bites will circulate, including patata bravas and grilled corn with espelette aioli
Three further courses are served to the table, including paella and churros.
Music comes in the form of an “old-school hip-hop soundtrack celebrating ’80s and ’90s, while there are a range of beverage stations, too. Plus, there’s a happy hour that runs from 4pm-8pm where drinks are half price.
