Brand-new steakhouse STK opens in JBR

The world-famous restaurant is now open in Rixos Premium Dubai

There’s a brand-new steakhouse in town, and it’s in JBR.

Carnivores will love STK JBR The Walk, which threw open its doors at this start of this month (Friday December 1) at the Rixos Premium Dubai, at JBR.

The restaurant, which is part of a global chain, is the first STK within the Middle East. There’s due to be a second outlet opening Downtown soon, too.

“The high-energy dining and drinks venue offers the ultimate blend of food-meets-party, bringing an all-new experience to Dubai,” says the team behind it.

“Far from your standard steakhouse, STK JBR’s resident DJ takes the decks each night, meaning there’s no shortage of dancing after, or over, dinner. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a classy evening among friends, a quiet meal with the better half or a group get together, this little gem has you sorted.”

Interiors are chic and minimal, STK is set over 13,000 sq feet, including a lounge, dining area and a terrace, and can house 220 diners.

The American chain already has branches in Las Vegas, New York and London, and is famous for its top-notch steaks. Classic steakhouse options on the menu have had a modern makeover, with the various cuts of beef, including fillets, tenderloin, rib-eye, T-bone and Tomahawk, undoubtedly the stars of the show. There are also burgers and braised beef short rib being served up, with sides including Parmesan truffle fries and mac ‘n’ cheese.

Plus there are plenty of seafood dishes too, for non-red meat eaters, including soft shell crab sliders, scallop carpaccio and passion fruit miso black cod.

STK joins Lock, Stock & Barrel, Inner City Zoo, Riviera Grill, Azure Beach at the hotel, alongside the hotel’s all-day dining location Turquoise. Meanwhile a second Black Tap and Italian restaurant Luigia are due to open in the hotel soon.
