If you’re an Italian food fanatic then you’ll be thrilled by the arrival of Luigia at JBR.
One of many new openings at the Rixos Premium Dubai, which is fast becoming a hub for foodies in the area, Luigia is offering up traditional pizza and pasta dishes.
Boasting “authentic Italian home cooking”, the opening of Luigia in the city brings the chain’s global total to five – with restaurants across Switzerland.
Founded by Luigi Guarnaccia and Enrico Coppola, there’s a lengthy menu with plenty of tasty sounding pizzas, all cooked in the specially built Neapolitan wood-fired oven.
Dishes include classic pizzas, calzones, pastas (Bolognaise, meatballs, pesto et el), salads and a range of traditional desserts (think profiteroles and more).
Luigia prides itself on serving “The Best of Italy”, sourcing only the “freshest and best quality ingredients”. It also follows “only the most authentic tried and tested recipes”, handed down from generation to generation, says the team behind it.
Antonio Gonzalez, of Sunset Hospitality, the group bringing the restaurant to Dubai, adds, “We want our guests to feel like they are pushing the door open to Italy, sharing a friendly moment while enjoying the pleasure and flavour of Italian dolce vita.”
The fresh new Italian joins the recently opened second Dubai branch of Black Tap, STK, which threw open its doors last month, Lock, Stock & Barrel JBR - The Walk, Inner City Zoo, Riviera Grill and Azure Beach alongside the hotel’s all-day dining location Turquoise.
