Free croissants to celebrate International Croissant Day

Get your free pastry from Délifrance on January 30

It’s that day we’ve all been waiting for – International Croissant Day.

That’s right, a whole day dedicated to delicious flaky folds and twists of absolute deliciousness.

And if you haven’t already planned how you’re going to celebrate the occasion on Tuesday (Jan 30) then you’re in for a treat.

French café Délifrance is giving away 200 free buttery croissants, and all you have to do is show off your French lingual skills.

Simply walk into either Dubai Mall or Ibn Battuta branch and say “j’aime les croissants” (I love croissants), and you will be presented with a heritage croissant absolutely free of charge.

In 1919 the world’s biggest mill was built on the Seine to boost the French economy and to this day Délifrance uses flour from this exact mill.

Though originally created in Vienna, it was France that made the croissant famous.

The Délifrance heritage croissant is one of its bestsellers due to the balance between the creamy butter and French flour.

Free croissants are limited to one each per customer and are available while supplies last.

The boulangerie and bistro also serves up a variety of other options including sandwiches, burgers and quiches, if the croissant gets your appetite going.

We’ve got our calendars marked. Bon appetite!
