A new “laid-back, pocket-friendly” seafood restaurant is coming to DIFC, and Time Out Dubai has been down to check it out ahead of its opening.
Crab Market is due to open at Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC within the next week, with an official date yet to be confirmed.
It’s billed as a “casual dining marvel” set to offer “fresh, delicious crab at the most affordable prices”, all with a side of skyline views.
Crab Market draws inspiration from fish markets around the world, and the restaurant features an ice market and large tanks where diners can pick their catch, including crabs and fresh fish.
A diverse menu comes from Chef Vladimir Mukhin of restaurant White Rabbit in Russia, who recently appeared on Netflix series Chef’s Table.
The menu will boast loads of fresh seafood dishes, specialising in kamchatka crab, which the team will import directly from Russia.
The new restaurant will be cooking crab in a variety of ways, all served with a range of tasty sauces.
“This is a really exciting concept, and something that has not yet been seen in Dubai,” says Chef Mukhin.
“Developing a diverse seafood menu and focusing on crab has been a real project of passion. We have created a selection of crab dishes, incorporating the best catch into our signature dishes and I am confident that guests will enjoy this unique experience.”
Set in the same building as Mint Leaf of London, expect spectacular skyline views of Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa, alongside some excellent crab.
Coming soon. Open Sun-Wed noon-midnight; Thu-Sat noon-1am. Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC (04 564 5525).
