800 Pizza celebrates 11 years with sliced prices

What’s the best way to celebrate 11 years of pizza? With half-price pizza, of course. Popular Italian chain 800 Pizza is slicing its prices in half this month as it comes into its 11th year of serving up UAE residents top-notch pizzas.

800 Pizza will be offering diners in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Sharjah 50 percent off all orders over Dhs100, for 11 days from Saturday March 18 until Wednesday March 28.

800 Pizza was set up on March 8 2007, with the very first branch opening in Al Barsha in Dubai. Little more than a tiny pizzeria, it didn’t stop the Italian owner's pride and joy of making genuine handcrafted pizzas in a wood-burning oven flown in all the way from his home country.

“Hard work,” says Alessandro D’ubaldo, founder of the brand, when talking about the secret of the restaurant’s success. “Since our inception the business has been through its fair share of ups and downs, but we have never faltered from our original ethos.”

After a couple of years, 800 Pizza grew, and there are now seven outlets in Dubai, including in Dubai Marina, Motor City, Arabian Center, Dubailand, Ibn Battuta Mall and Al Wasl Road.

With its wood-fired baking oven to get that true Italian crispy crust and using the finest buffalo mozzarella, along with freshly-cut ingredients imported straight from Italy, it’s no wonder the pizzeria has lasted so long.

And now you can enjoy your pizzas for less. Mark the dates in the diary, it's time for a pizza party.
