Pierre's Bistro Dubai: Inside Pierre Gagnaire's new restaurant

Pierre's Bistro will overlook Dubai Creek from the InterContinental hotel

World famous chef Pierre Gagnaire is opening a restaurant in Dubai - and we got the first look inside.

The Michelin-starred Frenchman already has a patisserie, but now he's launching a chic bistro experience that will evoke the spirit of his homeland by drawing inspiration from 'simple, fresh ingredients'.

Pierre's Bistro will overlook Dubai Creek from the InterContinental Dubai Festival City with a contemporary bar, spacious dining room and stylish outdoor lounge terrace.

The menu exhibits the chef's creativity and features innovative dishes such as beef oscietra caviar, tuna tataki crispy rice and meringua tarta-citrus jelly.

Gagnaire hopes it will be a place where guests 'linger long into the night' at glamorous gatherings and secret soirees. Sounds plush.

He has had epic success in Paris (his two restaurants there have garnered six Michelin stars between them), as well as in London (Sketch), Hong Kong (Pierre à Hong Kong) and Tokyo (Pierre à Tokyo).

The chef previously had a fine dining restaurant in Dubai named Reflets, but it closed its doors at the InterContinental late in 2016.

This exciting new venture is its replacement - and we can't wait to try it out.
