McDonald's in Dubai is set to slash the price of a Big Mac – for one day only.
The fast food chain is marking the 50th anniversary of the world-famous burger by offering diners 50 percent off the usual Dhs14 price, meaning the iconic sandwich will be available for just Dhs7.
The triple-tiered treat was first served up back in 1968 and is still proving tasty for fast food fans the world over.
Now you can celebrate your love for the iconic meal by bagging the burger for half price on Wednesday at the restaurant chain’s multitude of outlets in Dubai.
That’s when the golden arches restaurant will be toasting the brilliant burger’s 50th birthday.
It would be rude not to join the party as this is an offer you can really relish.
The Big Mac has been around since 1967 when it was available in just three Pittsburgh McDonald's locations.
It was originally known as the Big Attraction (not so snappy) until it was renamed by a 21-year-old secretary at the fast food chain's corporate headquarters.
Now in the UK alone McDonald's sells 91million of the burgers each year - requiring 8,245 tonnes of beef and 1.8 million litres of Big Mac sauce.
