There’s a one-off feast by celebrity chef Gary Rhodes this week and it’s sure to be of interest to any foodie worth their salt.
The scoffing will commence with citrus cured and smoked salmon salad served with an orange marmalade sour cream dressing, followed by lobster boudin blanc accompanied with baby leeks, samphire and a lobster curry sauternes sauce.
The main course is navarin of lamb with spring vegetables and parsley mashed potatoes, while the cherry on the cake comes in the form of an indulgent orange and chocolate shortbread tart.
Each course will be paired with an expertly matched grape for the perfect way to wash down all of that top grub.
Rhodes W1 is the British chef’s charming restaurant. It has a vintage feel to it and the menu is filled with dishes that will transport UK expats back to dear old Blighty.
The evening menu is also filled with clean, crisp takes on nostalgic dishes, with braised beef, lamb cutlets and vegetables such as asparagus, sweet peas and broad beans and seafood including halibut, cod and crab.
