On Thursday May 3, culinary maestro Ho Chee Boon, who is International Executive Chef for the Hakkasan chain across the globe, will be jetting into the UAE to serve up a spectacular seven-course treat for foodie fans.
The exclusive evening will showcase some signature dishes from the popular world-famous brand.
Chef Ho moved to the US in 2012 to launch Hakkasan in 2012, and the restaurant secured a Michelin star within eight months of opening. Since then he’s headed up all the openings of other branches in the US including San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, as well as the restaurants in Mumbai and right here in Dubai.
He currently splits his time between Las Vegas – where the restaurant is housed in the world-famous MGM Grand hotel – and San Francisco.
He prides himself on using fresh, local ingredients, so Dubai’s foodies will be in for a treat at this special seven-course dinner. Dishes will include chicken dumpling in Chinese chive sauce with caviar, crispy Peking duck with foie gras and homemade black sesame pancakes, roasted Chilean seabass with kumquat, and steamed mushroom lotus rice with Mongolian lamb tenderloin.
The meal will be finished with coconut mousse, lychee granita, coconut tapioca and coconut lime sorbet.
The seven-course menu created by Chef Ho Chee Boon is priced at Dhs498 with a minimum of two people per booking. The chef will also be cooking the same dinner at Hakkasan Abu Dhabi the night before (Wednesday May 2), should you be dining in the Capital.
