Fans of Middle Eastern cuisine are in luck as there’s a brand-new Operation: Falafel open in the city.

The newest branch is located in Dubai Media City, and it’s sure to be a hit with office workers in the area, especially at lunch time.

It’s the second branch this year to open in Dubai – with a huge new space in The Dubai Mall launching in January and more expected across the UAE soon.

The popular Dubai-born eatery is billed as “authentic Arabian cuisine blending a rich history with an urban-contemporary finish”. The restaurant will be open 24-hours, too.

The Media City opening is the 11th branch of the chain, with other locations including at The Beach, BoxPark and Kite Beach.

The restaurant aims to create an atmosphere similar to an authentic street marketplace, using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes.

Diners can expect all their favourite Operation: Falafel dishes, such as a classic chicken sharwama, beef sharwama and, of course, heaps of hummus, foul, salads, sandwiches and more.

There’s also plenty of the signature dish – falafel freshly made every day with chickpeas and a “secret assortment of fine herbs and spices”.

Falafel saj for lunch? Don’t mind if we do.

Open 24 hours. Dubai Media City (600 530006).
