Fancy a roast but not sure your Yorkshires are worthy of Mary Berry’s approval? Or maybe you just can’t be bothered with the washing up. Bread Street Kitchen has a solution.

Gordon Ramsay’s famous British restaurant has launched a new “Host My Roast” option for Saturdays. All you need to do is gather your mates, hop in a taxi and head to Atlantis The Palm.

As well as Gordon’s regular roast – which comes in at Dhs135 a head – every Saturday you can now go for the new Host My Roast. You’ll need a minimum of six people, and the full roast dinner will cost Dhs750 for all of you.

Diners can look forward to roast sirloin of beef, served up with all the trimmings, think Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and veggies.

Don’t think you’re getting off too lightly though, you’ll also be presented with a range of carving tools to show off your meat cutting skills.

And if you think you can recreate it at home, roast recipe cards will also be handed out, with tips from Gordon himself on how to prepare perfectly tender roast beef and a fluffy Yorkshire puddings.

If that’s not enough, you’ll get a free helping of English trifle thrown in, too.

And all you need to do afterwards is sit and chill without a whiff of Fairy Liquid in nose-range. Ideal.
Dhs750 (six people). Saturdays noon-3pm; 6pm-10.30pm. Ongoing. Atlantis The Palm, Palm Jumeirah (04 426 1000).
