The Noodle House launches new Filipino menu

Try traditional dishes until July 10

Popular eatery The Noodle House has launched a brand-new Filipino menu, which will be served in all its branches across Dubai.

The new dishes have been introduced to celebrate Philippines Independence Day, which fell on Tuesday June 12, and will run until Tuesday July 10, so get in quick to try these tasty new specials.

It’s the first of four regional menus that will run this year, with plans for recipes inspired by Taiwan, Korea and Burma coming up in future months.

The Noodle House’s chef Stefan Borchardt has collaborated with his team to create a “melting pot of flavours”, influenced by classic Filipino dishes, while adding his own signature twists.

Starters include taifun chilli lumpia, crispy fried chili filled with ginger, garlic, beef and banana ketchup, as well as kwek-kwek, crispy baked quails’ eggs with spicy vinegar and sweet soy dip.

Mains include kare-kare, spicy crispy peanut chicken with pumpkin, long beans, aubergine and oyster mushrooms served with steamed rice. There are also veggie and vegan options.

Fancy something sweet? Finish off with a serving of the traditional halo halo (a mixture of shaved ice and evaporated milk) served with a creamy leche flan and ice cream.

We can’t wait to try them.
