Silver Beach Café opens in Dubai’s Al Seef

European bistro restaurant puts a modern spin on classic dishes

We love a nice jaunt down to the old side of town and now there’s yet another reason to head down to Dubai Creek.

A new European bistro has opened its doors serving delicious café-style comfort food in Al Seef, putting a refreshing spin on wholesome old favourites.

Silver Beach Café is now open and both the dishes and the venue are something to behold.

Starters include green herbed barbecued baby potatoes and slow roasted tomato soup, while mains include steak au poivre and chips, fondue dips to share and all manner of mouth-watering desserts.

And when you’re eating such fine grub it’s only right that you do it in sophisticated surroundings.

Luckily, Silver Beach Café is spread out across two spacious floors with a tonne of natural sunlight and panoramic views overlooking the Dubai Creek.

There’s also free multistorey parking and you can get take-away and delivery if you don’t fancy dining in.

If you want to explore more of Old Dubai while you’re down that way then you can take an historical self-guided walking tour that will open your eyes to the city's heritage.

The suggested starting point of the tour is Al Fahidi Street in Bur Dubai and you’ll see cultural sights including the XVA Art Hotel and the gold and spice souqs.

In our eyes, there’s nothing better than food with a spot of culture.
Open daily noon-1am. Al Seef, Dubai Creek, Bur Dubai (04 358 4355).
