Can’t get enough bibimbap? If you love the famous rice dish, and other South Korean food, you’re in luck this month as popular eatery The Noodle House has launched a brand-new limited-edition menu.
From now Sunday July 15 until Friday August 17 there will be a special menu packed with bibimbap, slow-cooked barbecue ribs, kimchi fried rice, mandu dumplings and more.
“There’s a massive street food culture across South Korea that boasts a world of flavours, barbecue-based creations and on-the-go dishes,” said The Noodle House chef Stefan Borchardt. “We’ve identified a mix of favourites based on recommendations, flavours we feel residents across Dubai will enjoy, and added The Noodle House touch to these traditional dishes.”
The special menu runs as a three-course set meal, including starter, main, dessert and a mocktail.
The meal kicks off with some homemade mandu – traditional dumplings made with vegetables, ginger oil and kimchi (cabbage). For main course you can dig into bibimbap with barbecue beef ribs. The beef is slow-cooked for 12 hours, glazed with a Korean-spiced barbecue dressing and served with kimchi fried rice, seasonal vegetables, fried egg and tofu. There’s also a veggie version of bibimbap, too. Dessert is honey cake.
It’s the second of four regional menus that will run this year, with plans for recipes inspired by Taiwan and Burma coming up in future months. Last month the restaurant ran a Filipino menu.

Get down to The Noodle House before August 17 to try the special menu. We'll see you there.
Dhs125 (meat), Dhs105 (vegetarian). Until August 17. Various locations including Dubai Media City and Souk Madinat Jumeirah, www.thenoodlehouse.com.
