Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011Lurking somewhere in the corner of the Dubai Mall food court is Pars Express. The restaurant does very little to lift the mildly depressing atmosphere of the mall with its sterile, almost minimal service and gloomy faces at the front. If the prices manage to draw you in, then the express-defying wait will negate any sense of bargain joy. For a food court mall restaurant usually capable of handling the most demanding of multiple queues, this one particularly disappoints.
The vegetables came soggy, drowning in a sea of oil whilst our lamb, though well marinated and nicely spiced arrived heavily over-salted and when it came down to the bite, had little on it. The chicken kebab on the other hand wasn't bad by any means and as far as Dhs38 goes, is probably one of the better picks of the menu. For a cheap bite it’s not bad, but not particularly great either, just don't go expecting anything wow.
