Time Out Says
Boasting an urban retro vibe with funky pieces of art work and graffiti adorning the industrial-style walls, the all-new, bigger and better branch of this Italian stalwart has already become a huge hit. Pizza Express fans will be pleased to hear that the menu hasn’t changed and the much-loved, Piccolo menu is still on offer for the youngest diners. A real highlight for the little ones is being able to don their own chef’s hat and apron before making their own pizzas, too.
Pasta dishes are packed full of flavour, but you’re missing a trick if you don’t opt for a pizza. The signature Calabrese pizza turns up the heat for those who like a bit of a spicy kick to their food, while the margherita bufala, loaded with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and garlic is a classic, but a firm favourite. Tip? A drizzle of chilli oil finishes this off nicely.
An oldie but a goodie, a top option for a spontaneous supper with the family.
