Time Out Says
This pleasant neighbourhood pizzeria comes into its own during the cooler months as the glass front opens up to the lake-view promenade, where the few tables that dot the area create a quaint al fresco dining spot. Inside, the aroma of pizzas (made fresh before your eyes) gives Pizzame a comforting, homely feel. The pizzas are classically thin, but with enough dough to give them a crisp bite and avoid any messy sloppiness. The hearty tagliatelle alfredo comes crammed with strips of chicken while the Italian-sounding salads would fare better with less dressing. But the happy, chatty, friendly staff, together with the decor punctuated by the colours of the Italian flag, make this place a cheerful stop-off for a reasonably priced and generously topped pizza, especially for JLT residents or revellers who have just left McGettigan’s next door.
