Time Out Says
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011Dubai has a fair few pizza restaurants. Some may moan at the sight of yet another one, but if like us, you think that a city can never have too many, then we think you'll find Pizzeria a welcome albeit slightly bizarre addition. It's a smart, casual place, a little on the posh upmarket side of things, but you'll find a pretty wide array of customers here from those in shorts to those in suits. Although the design, styling and overall interior seems unintentionally fixed in the '80s and the live jazz that crept in from outside fought a bit with the desired ambience and restaurant's own music, it kinda adds to the whole likeable oddness of it all. The pizza too, we should mention on the whole, isn't bad, the dough looks like it was made with love, it comes decently topped with finely picked and cut ingredients and served really hot just the way good pizza should be. Although swerve past the pizzas and pastas and you'll discover a range of dishes that really get the thumbs up. Try the lemon veal which is beautifully made. In summary, Pizzeria offers service that is humble and unassertive, prices that are fair all things considering, food, though not stunning is nonetheless decent and we're sure if you're after a posh pizza, you'll be content here.
