Prego's - Dubai

Time Out Says

It’s quite refreshing to visit an Italian restaurant that isn’t trying to cram every single Italian stereotype into its dining area. Prego’s has opted for a minimalist design, with lots of red and clean lines. It makes for a relaxing setting, but not exactly romantic, which is partially down to the open-plan seating arrangement. It can feel a bit overwhelming to see so many seats in such a large space, but the warm service makes you feel welcome. The menu is large, but staff are more than happy to offer detailed suggestions. If you’re looking for a substantial main course, you won’t be disappointed with the lasagne. It’s a generous helping with rich flavours and tender meat. However, the bucatini all’amatriciana (pasta with meat and tomato sauce) could do with some livening up, as the sauce is too bland. You’ll also find an array of grape to choose from, with staff forthcoming in offering suitable recommendations to complement your meal.
