Time Out Says
But while some take that novelty as their only selling point, Prime68 uses it to complement, not overshadow, its food.
It’s a top spot whether you have steak-loving family in town, you’re planning a special date night or are gathering a group of friends for Friday brunch.
Prices are almost as high as the setting (ladies, there’s a pocket-friendly deal on Tuesday to check out), but the dishes use quality ingredients and you won’t feel shortchanged by the super experience.
Starters are steakhouse classics – from jumbo prawn cocktail to the signature onion soup or wedge salad.
In terms of steaks, whether it be striploin or rib-eye, Prime68’s cuts are huge. And the tenderloin is well worth a try. All the slabs are perfectly tender and dripping with flavour. No sauce is needed to enhance the taste here.
Even vegetarians are in for a brilliant meal, as the Romanesque cauliflower steak cooked with grilled asparagus, sautéed spinach, sundried tomato and cheese, is an absolute delight.
Service is quick and attentive, the views are eye-popping and the steaks are delicious. A top spot to visit.
