Time Out Says

This contemporary and quirky Indian restaurant is worth stopping in at if you’re in Oud Metha and fancy a hearty and tasty Indian meal in a casual setting. The dining room is fun – sayings about why and how you’re “Punjabi by nature” are scrawled across the walls, and the colourful menu is a delight to read. Meanwhile, the servers are super-friendly and attentive. As the food is made to order, it can be rather slow, even if the restaurant is practically empty. Despite that, the food that does eventually come out is great (humungous portions, though – you’ve been warned). We particularly love the bhuna ghosht – tender lamb chunks with caramelised onions – and the aloo lababdar – baby potatoes in a rich, onion-tomato gravy. Having said that, you can’t go far wrong with anything on the substantially sized menu. It might not be the kind of place you’d go out of your way to get to, but, as we said, if you’re in the area then we’d certainly recommend stopping by.
