Time Out Says

Ornately decorated in scarlet and gold hues, with wooden dividers creating dining rooms within a dining room, Rasoi is a quaint north Indian eatery inside the Coral Dubai Deira Hotel. Your experience may begin fairly subdued, but it’s all change when the rousing live entertainment fires up. Staff can hardly do enough for diners, and will readily recommend dishes if you’re keen to try a house favourite. The tandoori gobhi features tender cauliflower florets, rolled in spices and cooked in a traditional clay oven, and is hearty and flavoursome enough to satisfy (okay, trick) the wariest carnivore. Despite several pages dedicated to vegetarian dishes, there are plenty of chicken, mutton and seafood options, from griddled chicken tawa murgh to the uber-filling jhinga biryani. Go all out and round off with a lavish kulfi falooda – a classic ice-cream studded with almond slivers, jelly-textured bobbles and drizzled with syrup. A cute, fairly priced spot.
