Time Out Says

If you’re looking for somewhere with a distinctly Arabian atmosphere, then you can’t go far wrong with Reem Al Bawadi. It’s a little bit quirky, with the staff dressed in outfits that wouldn’t be out of place in an Aladdin panto, plus there’s an excess of greenery and vine leaves adorning the walls. The menu is huge, with all the regular Arabic offerings as well as some classic American dishes. Service is fast, with mezze appearing on your table almost instantly. The food is nothing out of the ordinary, but the quality is consistently good, with the hummus being nice and thick and the mixed grill cooked well. With so many people smoking shisha, and the pipes lining the narrow spaces between tables, we wouldn’t really recommend this place for families. If you have guests in town and want to show them a kitschy taste of Arabia, then Reem Al Bawadi is a good spot.
