Time Out Says

If you’ve never been to Al Nasr Leisureland before, it might seem like the place has been long abandoned. But there are signs of life at this ageing entertainment complex, including eccentric Indian eatery Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khazana. Entering the restaurant is an assault on the senses: it’s dark, decked out in a fake stone effect to make it look like a cave in places, with a rather loud water feature in one corner and jangly music playing in the background. Service, though, is slick and professional, if not overly friendly, with orders taken quickly. Like the decor, the food here isn’t subtle. Dishes pack a punch, such as the peppery lazeez tikka masala and the almost overpowering jalali jheenga, consisting of plump prawns marinated to an extent that you lose count of the flavours. It might be slightly unusual, but Khazana adds a bit of fun to the dining experience.
