A mall restaurant that serves up both Italian and Japanese fare but could probably do with focusing on just one

Time Out Says

If you can't decide between salami or sashimi, then Scoozi should be your first port of call. The restaurant bizarrely serves up both Italian and Japanese cuisine, a rather uncomfortable marriage. The Japanese is decent, but Italian is the most popular option. While the pasta may not be as good as that served at neighbouring Carluccio’s, or the pizza as good as at neighbouring Vapiano’s, the antipasti selection is admirable and the service passable (in the world of in-mall cuisine, that is). The one saving grace of both the Festival Centre and The Dubai Mall locations is the view – the former looks over the mall’s faux creek, the latter over the largest fountain in the world.
