Seville's Restaurant & Bar

Decent tapas with a few rough edges

Time Out Says

There’s a fine line between shabby-chic, and we don’t just mean the hyphen. Put it this way: Seville’s – part of the Wafi pyramid’s labyrinth of restaurants – by night looks considerably more charming than under the unforgiving gaze of the sun, which picks out its tatty edges. Fortunately, the food and service are rather more consistent, the former a classic line-up of tapas tropes delivered to a high standard, the latter a very friendly bunch who know the menu inside-out and are happy to chat through your choices to make sure you get what you need and don’t order too much. Highlights include the patatas bravas, the Spanish omelette and the cod croquettas, although the paella is average. Still, it’s a lovely spot for a fun dinner, and bonus points for the complimentary basket of Catalan-style tomato bread that has a great garlic welly going on.
